About Us

Charlie Kauffman originally partnered with Bill Curran in 1986 to found Curran/Kauffman Mortgage Associates. Both men brought a wealth of commercial and residential lending experience to the venture, and they enjoyed great success through the time of Bill’s retirement in 2002 after 45 years in the business. Without missing a beat, Charlie and his associates transformed into C.H. Kauffman & Associates, Inc. continuing the well established tradition as a leader among real estate lenders and mortgage bankers in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
